There are many choices for digital equipment these days and prices are getting better and better. Unfortunately there is a lot of room for confusion. Some dealers offer great prices but don't include a computer, grid or even support.

I've found the best way to approach this is to get three quotes. More than that causes confusion. Make sure you are getting similar quotes. DR is profoundly different than CR and in some cases won't achieve what you're looking for. DR with CCD technology is different than Gadox or Cesium.

I don't know of many Doctors who have the time to sort this out so trust is vital. Pick someone from a reference or get references and check them out. It could save you thousands and a lot of frustration.
